Neuroscience Researchers
Neuroscientists studying the locus of diseases by examining difference in the structure across patient and normal populations will benefit from automatic segmentation because it will decrease their costs and reduce human variability.
Figure 1 shows that interest in this kind of research is growing and Figure 2 shows which disorders are being studied.
